BROOKLYN, NY, May 26, 2026 — The Uniswap Foundation today announced a $100 million grants program focused on projects at the intersection of decentralized finance (DeFi) and artificial intelligence. The initiative, dubbed "DeFi × AI Initiative," will fund 500 developer teams over three years.
Grants range from $10,000 seed grants for early-stage projects to $2M milestone-based grants for established teams building core infrastructure. Priority areas include AI-powered liquidity management systems, automated market making optimization, on-chain risk assessment tools, and natural language interfaces for DeFi protocols.
Applications open June 1, 2026 at grants.uniswap.org. The foundation will host monthly office hours for prospective applicants.
