The Restaking Model
EigenLayer allows ETH stakers to "re-stake" their already-staked ETH to simultaneously secure additional protocols (AVSs—Actively Validated Services). In exchange, restakers earn additional yields from the protocols they secure, while those protocols benefit from Ethereum's battle-tested validator set rather than bootstrapping their own.
