Upbit to List Arcium ARX With KRW, BTC, USDT Pairs
Upbit will list Arcium’s ARX with KRW, BTC, and USDT pairs, giving traders multiple market options and putting the token in focus across major pairs.
Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, is set to list Arcium’s ARX token with three trading pairs: KRW, BTC, and USDT.
What Upbit’s ARX Listing Includes
The listing, announced through Upbit’s official notice board, will make ARX available across Korean won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT) markets. This three-pair structure gives traders on the platform multiple entry points for the token from day one.
Arcium is a project focused on confidential computing infrastructure for blockchain applications. The ARX token serves as the native asset of the Arcium network.
The listing follows a broader pattern of batch token additions on the exchange. Upbit recently listed PEAQ, LIT, KMNO, MORPHO, and several other tokens across diverse trading pairs in a similar multi-asset rollout.
Why the KRW, BTC, and USDT Pairs Matter
The inclusion of a KRW pair is significant for Upbit’s domestic user base. South Korean traders frequently use fiat on-ramps to enter positions directly, and KRW pairs on Upbit tend to generate substantial volume due to the platform’s dominance in the local market.
The BTC pair allows traders to rotate between Bitcoin and ARX without converting to fiat or stablecoins first. For those already holding BTC, this removes a step and reduces friction.
The USDT pair rounds out the offering by providing a stablecoin-denominated market. Traders who prefer to benchmark positions against a dollar-pegged asset can use this pair to manage exposure without touching fiat rails.
Together, the three pairs cover the main trading preferences on Upbit: fiat entry through KRW, crypto-native trading through BTC, and stablecoin-based positioning through USDT. This comes amid ongoing discussions across the industry, including debates around Ethereum validator funding and shifting infrastructure priorities. Traders should verify exact listing times and any deposit or withdrawal restrictions directly on Upbit’s platform before trading.
